Updates

Check the new founding fathers page some interesting information.

Contacted By Senator Stephen Martin's office as well as the office of the Department of Agriculture must be tired of my weekly letters .

DGIF said it needs seven more days to get the FOIA information requested on March 22 together must be quite a file

Marleen Durfee my County Supervisor has contacted me if I can get the ear of the County maybe they can get the State Officals to respond to my request. I am still trying to find out why a Fallow Deer should be treated any different than any other livestock

Not much to report on I have gotten the attention of the Libertarian Party and am still working to get the reports about the slaughter of my animals VDGIF seems to be dragging their feet. It is shame the government employees who we pay fight against us. Still writing letters, still being ignored by State Officals.

The media frenzy has settled down but the activity behind the scene is still going on. the VDGIF has ignored my FOIA request for all documents regarding my case so I had to take further action. Can't wait to see what they are hiding. I am being ignored by the other State Officals as well; since Virginia is Republican controlled and they claim to be business friendly I wonder how they will justify not allowing Virginia farmers to participate in a 3 billion dollar business which is legal in 48 other states.
I have contacted a number of State Officals as well as every member of the VDGIF  Board of Directors, my county representive, and local Media. So far I have only heard from Doc Thompson WRVA 1140 AM and am scheduled to be on his show Wednesday March 23 2011 at four pm. I will keep you informed

Sent the FOIA request to the VDGIF trying to get the reports concerning this massacre

Just heard from Melissa Correa From WWBT-TV NBC12 hope she can help
Doc bumped me back to 4:30 but I think it went well hope he puts this blog on his site so people can find more info.
THANKS DOC!!
I am getting e-mails directly to the site and Doc is forwarding e-mails to me. A listener e-mailed Bart Hinkle Richmond Times Dispatch Just talked to him hopefully he will do a story. Virginia Independent Farmers Association heard the radio story and wants more info.
WRIC on their way out to do a story
Katelyn Sherwood just left story to air WRIC channel 8 at 11pm 03/24/11
Mark Holmberg channel 6 on his way
Mark just left Jacob slobbered on his shirt but he is still going to air the story WTVR channel 6 after the NCAA game 03/24/11 if you want know who Jacob is tune in
Both videos are on each stations web site
Article in the Richmond Times Dispatch 03/26/11 some facts wrong but the jist of story is correct

Changed the Disease heading to put everything on one page and made it more understandable since this seems to be the states biggest reason for not allowing Fallow Farming however if you read it nothing they have said so far holds water

Just finished typing another another group of letters never had a response from any State officials My county supervisor Marleen Durfee did respond and I am sending her more information
Doc Thompson taking an interest may do another radio spot he was the cause of the media frenzy last week
Doc Thompson 03/31/11 another spot don't know what I will talk about
Was able to talk to Gov. McDonald on Jimmy Barrett's Show asked about the 12 million taxpayer dollars the DGIF is spending to bring wild elk to Va.
The DGIF study promoting importing Elk says disease transmission is negligible, contradicting everything they told me about my Fallows.
